General Information:

 

The Eastern Long Island Science Olympiad, B Division is a region of the New York State Science Olympiad. The B Division is designated for middle and junior high schools. Students in grades 6-9 may complete in this Olympiad, depending on the grade structure of the school. Both public and parochial schools may participate.

Directions to Candlewood MS:

 

From the West: Long Island Expressway to Exit 51. Get onto South Service Road, heading east to Carll's Straight Path (second light). Turn Right onto Carll's Straight Path, continue to school, which is ½ mile south of the Expressway.

From the East: Long Island Expressway to Exit 53; remain on the service road. Take the Commack Road exit off of the service road. Turn left at the second light onto Carll's Straight Path, continue to school, which is ½ mile south of the Expressway.

 

Snow Emergency Announcements:

 

In the event of snow on February 10, the Olympiad will be rescheduled for February 11. Information regarding the rescheduling of the Olympiad will be posted on this web page, if it should be needed. An announcement will also be made on radio station WBLI (106.1 FM).
