keep the community up to date on park events, local news, and
Avalon's involvement with other local environmental
organizations. Please contact

Astronomy 2008
Astronomy presentations will occur on the 2nd
Friday
of every month unless notated
otherwise.

David Cohn, Director of the Educational
Projects Network,
will present a guided tour of the night
sky.
Planetarium presentation will begin at 7:00
(regardless of sky conditions).
Observation of the sky
will begin at 7:00 pm, weather permitting.
Telescopes,
binoculars and star maps will be provided.
-Meet at the
new barn in the wildflower field.
Seating in the
planetarium is limited to 25.
